FB began in San Francisco during the late summer months of 2003, only to quickly relocate down south to Los Angeles. We recorded and self-released our first 12" single "We Had Pleasure" b/w "Escape" in 2004. A few months later came our debut EP "In the Remote Woods" via StarTime International Records. Before, during and after some months of US and UK touring with Rogue Wave, Jason Collette, Cold War Kids, Giant Drag and We Are Scientists, (mostly on vegetable oil we'll have you know!) we found time to record our first full length album "On the Wing Now" in the Winter of 2005/Spring of 2006.
We sold about 500 or so self released, hand-made copies during a few of the aforementioned tours, but have now officially released the album via Dim Mak Records as of August 21st, 2007! We're already working on new songs, day-dreaming of recording our next album and will definitely be hitting that road again soon in the near future.
